Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel in Purcell. Burial will be at Wanette Cemetery. Wadley’s Funeral Service is handling arrangements. Mrs. Leazer was born March 30, 1934, in Sardis, to Russell and Dovie Hamilton Baker. She had lived in Wanette the past 30 years since moving from Oklahoma City. She was raised in Sardis and graduated from Tuskahoma High School in 1953. She married Lawrence Leazer March 17, 1973, in Oklahoma City. She was a housewife and enjoyed arts and crafts. She was of the Penetcostal faith. Mrs. Leazer was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and seven brothers. Mrs. Leazer is survived by her husband, Lawrence of the home; children, Randy Rushing and wife, Debra, of Oklahoma City, Rick Rushing and wife, Melinda, of Yukon, Jerry Rushing and wife, Diania, of Moore, Lawrence Leazer Jr. and wife, Naomi, of Emporia, Kan., and Vicky Davis of Piedmont; brother, Ray Baker of Oklahoma City; brother-in-law, Charlie Carter of Farris; sisters, Jewel Barker of Del City and Betty Marcum of Talihina; sister-in-law, Evelyn Baker of Yanish; grandchildren, Joy and Dustin Davis, Krista, Anthony, Ryan and Megan Rushing and Eric Ferrier; great- grandchildren, Kara Jo and Megan Davis and Mason and Kody Phelps; and nephew, Clay Carter. Bearers will be Dustin Davis, Gary and Delbert Baker, Anthony and Ryan Rushing, Eric Ferrier and Jimmy Kirkes.
