She is survived by sons James H. Lankford of Apache, Oklahoma and Billy W. Lankford of Springtown, Texas; half-sister Juanita Pendley of Albany, Oklahoma; sister-in-law Nettie Lankford of Eugene, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Doyle and Cora Barnes and husband Cecil Lankford; sisters Lorene and Irene and half sister Edna. Funeral services were held Monday, December 03, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mills & Coffey Chapel in Antlers under the direction of Reverend Bob Weeks. Serving as pallbearers were: Dennis Bates, Mark McMahan, Glenn McMahan, Rusty Vaughn, Burl Payne and Joe Mills, Jr. Honorary pallbearers were: A. V. Mills and Wilburn Berry. She was laid to her final resting place at Antlers City Cemetery under the direction of Mills & Coffey Funeral Home of Antlers, Oklahoma. ---------------------------------------
