Contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Teresa Young October 14, 2001 ************************************************************************ "Antlers American", June 23, 1983 MAYNARD RITES HELD LAST TUESDAY Clyde Haskell Maynard, an Antlers resident, died at the Pushmataha Hospital Friday at the age of 75. He was born August 10, 1907 at Rattan and had lived in this area all of his life. Maynard was a retired rancher and school bus driver and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Sally, of the home; one son, Billy Joe Maynard of Long Island, New York; 2 daughters: Bobbie Hooker of Finley, Oklahoma and Mikkie Blair of Moore Park, California; 3 brothers: Joel Maynard of Cloudy, Oklahoma; Goffrie Maynard of Rattan, Oklahoma and Clifford Maynard of Big Springs, Texas; 3 sisters: Dovie Wells of Dinuba, California; Mildred Turner of Stockton, California; and Victoria Aucriman of Phoenix, Arizona; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Mills-Coffey Chapel with Otho Rogers officiating. Burial was in the Rattan Cemetery under the direction of Mills-Coffey Funeral Home of Antlers, Oklahoma.
