MOORE SERVICES HELD Ruby H. Moore was born December 7, 1914 in Konawa, Oklahoma and passed away from this life on April 15, 2002 in Antlers, Oklahoma at the age of 87 years. Mrs. Moore was a resident of Antlers for the past 32 years coming from Norman, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed singing and playing the piano, gospel music, bird watching, the outdoors, jigsaw puzzles, she loved chocolate, family gatherings and kids. She leaves behind to cherish her memory 6 children: Bob Moore and wife Sharon of Wynnewood, Oklahoma; Don Moore and wife Bonnie of Weatherford, Oklahoma; Allen Moore of Cooper, Texas; Sue Cather of Royce City, Texas; Ann Vaught of Noble, Oklahoma; and Janice Gaston and husband Joe of New Bern, North Carolina; 1 sister-in-law: Myrtle West of Wynnewood, Oklahoma along with 17 grandchildren: Gramelda Cantrell, Kevin Moore, Missy Cochran, Matt Moore, Vicky Moore, Mike Low, Randy Low, Blake Low, Erin Schenk, Mark Moore, Jay Moore, Cameron Moore, Tracy Vaught, Teresa Harrington, Denise Warner, Tammy Gaston Smith and Danny Gaston. She was preceded in death by her parents: George and Anna Lack; her husband Homer E. Moore; 3 brothers: George, Frank, and James Lack; 2 sisters: Ruth Franks and Stella Milam; 1 son-in-law: Gene Vaught and great grandson Tony Low. Funeral services were held Thursday, April 18, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at the Mills-Coffey Chapel with Bill Haddox officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Kevin Moore, Matt Moore, Mike Low, Randy Low, Blake Low, Mark Moore and Jay Moore. Honorary pallbearers were James Cather, Doyle Battles and Don House. She was laid to rest at the Antlers City Cemetery under the direction of Mills-Coffey Funeral Home in Antlers, Oklahoma.
