LIDDIE BELLE MORRIS SERVICES HELD Liddie Belle Morris was born on May 23, 1930 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and passed away on September 12, 2000 in Antlers, Oklahoma at the age of 70 years. Liddie has lived in Antlers for the past 10 years coming from Atoka. She was active on the Board of Directors for the Antlers Housing Authority, a volunteer for SOS, the Nutrition Center, Greenthumb Program and a member of the V. F. W. Women's Auxillary Group. Her church affiliation was with the Stringtown Baptist Church and she enjoyed her pastimes of Bingo, crafts, reading and ceramics. Mrs. Morris is survived by 6 children: Joe Morris and wife Sharon of Waller, Texas; David Morris and wife Allison of Katy, Texas; Paula Eskue and husband Perry of Antlers, Oklahoma; Linda Chaffin and husband Jim of Comanche, Oklahoma; Donna Goodson and husband Loyd of Atoka, Oklahoma and Barbara Dodson and husband Berry of Stillwater, Oklahoma; 15 grandchildren: Melissa Harrison, Jessie Snead, Stacey Rose, Brandi Gregg, Jason Goodson, Scott Eskue, Tori Pace, Stormi Eskue, Barry Dodson, Tanya Wierzbicki, Marley Morris, Misti Morris, Brad Morris, Michael Chaffin and Chance Dodson; 11 great-grandchildren: Megan Harrison, Matthew Harrison, Joshua Lovett, Jacob Rose, Logan Snead, Samantha Snead, Asher Gregg, Joel Pace, Derek Goodson, Kolbi Eskue and Amaya Eskue. She was preceded in death by her parents: Floyd and Elsie E. Howell and her husband: Jesse Warren Morris. Funeral services were held Thursday, September 14, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mills & Coffey Chapel in Antlers with Reverend Ancil Simmons offiicating. Serving as pallbearers were: Chris Rose, Chris Pace, Jason Gregg, Scott Eskue, Marley Morris and Jason Goodson. Honorary pallbearers included: Michael Chaffin, Brad Morris, Chance Dodson, Barry Dodson, Brian Snead and Matthew Wierzbicki. Burial was held at the Bentley Cemetery under the direction of Mills & Coffey Funeral Home of Antlers.
