Lois was born on June 21, 1914 in Allen, Oklahoma to George Austin Satterfield and Penola (Harvey) Satterfield. She was homemaker/housewife and a retired clerk from Berry's Drug. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and a lifelong residence of the Antlers area. Lois loved working in her flower and vegetable gardens and enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She is survived by 2 daughters: Pat Matthews and husband Dean of Antlers, Okla.; and Jerry Taylor and husband Buddy of Antlers, Okla.; 1 sister: Janice Owens Hedrich of Antlers, Okla.; 3 brothers: G. A. "Buck" Satterfield of Miller, Okla.; Wayland Satterfield of Sunray, Texas; and Billy Joe Satterfield of Wichita, Kansas; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands: 1st: Clarence E. Dillingham and 2nd: George (Jack) Pool; 3 brothers: C. B. Satterfield, Autie Lee Satterfield and Kenneth Satterfield. Funeral services were held Monday, April 16, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Antlers with Reverend Sam Dyer and Reverend Andy Reed officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Jack Matthews, Kay Williams, Sheila Coughern, Kathy Hall, and Teresa Speck. Honorary pallbearers included: Pam Matthews, Jerry Williams, Chuck Caughern, Keith Hall, and Todd Speck. Burial took place at the Darwin Cemetery under the direction of Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Antlers, Oklahoma.
