		       PEARL POWELL SERVICES HELD

Pearl Powell passed away on April 21, 2001 in Antlers, Oklahoma at the age 
of 94 years.

Pearl was born December 29, 1906 to Robert Henry McCoy and Minnie (Allen) 
McCoy at Salt Creek, Oklahoma. She was a resident of the area for 90 years. 
She was active in the community and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary as 
a "Gold Star Mother". Pearl enjoyed music, fishing, and playing dominoes 
with her friends.

She is survived by her son: Joe Powelll of Moore, Okla.; 2 sisters: Jo Green 
of Dumas, Texas and Billie Bridges of Graham, Texas; 1 brother: Robert McCoy 
of Red Springs, Texas; 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 2 
great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband: John Powell.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 24, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at the 
Mills-Coffey Chapel with Reverend Pete Green and Reverend Monty Sharp 
officiating.

Burial was held at the Dela Cemetery under the direction of Mills-Coffey 
Funeral Home of Antlers, Oklahoma.
