Obit for Stella Pletcher

Antlers American, January 25, 2001

STELLA PLETCHER

Stella Pletcher passed away January 15, 2001 at the Pushmataha Hospital in 
Antlers. She was born February 14, 1910 in Soper to David Edward and 
Caldonia Maddux. She was a retired cosmetologist and a Jehovah's Witness. 
She had been a resident of Antlers since 1971.

Surviving relatives include her niece, Dorothy Jones of Antlers; several 
other nieces and nephews; and five grandchildren and seven 
great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, James Edward Pletcher; one son, 
James E. Pletcher, Jr.; parents, David Edward and Caldonia Maddux; and one 
sister, Lula Ward.

Funeral services for Stella Pletcher, 90, of Antlers were held 11 a.m. 
Thursday, January 18, 2001, at the Mills-Coffey Chapel. Mike Smith 
officiated.

Burial followed in the Antlers City Cemetery.
