PARISHER SERVICES HELD Warren E. Parisher was born April 28, 1925 in Cherokee, Texas and passed away on December 11, 2001 in Kent Community, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years. Mr. Parisher has been a resident of the Kent Community for the past 32 years. He served his country during WWII in the Army/Air Force as a sergent. He is survived by his wife Wanda E. Parisher of the home; 1 son Darrel Parisher of La Porte, Texas; 3 daughters Jennifer Kowis of El Lago, Texas; Connie Frankel of Pasadena, Texas; 2 brothers: Archie Parisher of Jacinto City, Texas and Harold Parisher of Franklin, Texas; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents: Lee and Clara Parisher and sister Modine Rucker. Funeral service were held Thursday, December 3, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at the Kent Baptist Church with Reverend Doug Maggard officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Frank Spalding, Ronnie Branton, Darrel Spalding, Si Westmoreland, Randall Branton and Robert Spalding. He was laid to rest at Sugar Creek Cemetery under the direction of Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Antlers, Oklahoma. ---------------------------------------
