Mr. Richardson was born to Delbert and Lois Richardson on December 13, 1946 in Fresno, California. He had lived back in the area for the past 17 years and was a resident of Ringold, Oklahoma. Van worked as a fork lift operator and loved working outdoors and enjoyed nature. He is survived by his parents: Delbert and Lois Richardson of Ringold, Oklahoma; his wife: Mary Luann Richardson of Ringold, Oklahoma; three children: Rod Richardson of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; Vanette Smith and Ryan Richardson both of Kansas; two step-children: Patrick and Alex; four grandchildren: Caleb, Cody, Logan and Sidney. Graveside services were held at the Walls Family Cemetery Friday, December 3, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. with Billy Dale officiating. Pallbearers included: Guy Rosenthal, Rocky Rosenthal, Frank Rosenthal, Allen Hensley, Tony Walls and Ryan Smith. Burial was in the Walls Family Cemetery.
