Mrs. Rymel had lived in this area for over 50 years and is a retired dietician. She is of the Church of Christ faith and enjoyed crafts and crocheting in her leisure time. She was also an experienced seamstress and crafted shirts for the "Mobetta" label that singer Garth Brooks had made so popular. She is survived by her husband Ray Rymel of the home in Antlers; 1 son: Randy Rymel of Beebe, Arkansas; 1 daughter: Linda Pitman of Antlers, Oklahoma; 1 half-brother: George Pigg of Antlers, Oklahoma; 1 sister: Deloris Rosson of Antlers; 4 grandchildren: Amanda Hammons, Sandy Pitman, John Rymel and Grace Rymel; and 1 great-grandchild: Christian Hammons. She was preceded in death by her parents: Douglas and Lena (Tindell-Gibson) Pigg and 1 sister: Bernice Sanders. Funeral services were held on Friday, February 1, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mills-Coffey Chapel with Reverend Andy Reed officiating. She was laid to rest at the Antlers City Cemetery under the direction of Mills & Coffey Funeral Home of Antlers, Oklahoma. _____________________________________
