BETTY RYMEL SERVICES HELD Betty Rymel was born January 27, 1936 in Hot Springs, Virginia and passed away on April 11, 2002 in Hugo, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years. Mrs. Rymel was a loving parent and enjoyed sewing and flower gardening in her spare time. She is survived by her husband Clinton Bailey Rymel of the home and 10 children: Lorraine Marie Billy of Corrine, Oklahoma; Clinton Bailey Rymel, Jr. of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Kolette Rae Rymel of Sobol, Oklahoma; Karla Kay Rymel of Batavia, Illinois; Hal Edward Rymel of Cartridge, Texas; Steven Wayne Rymel of Hugo, Oklahoma; Paul William Rymel of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Richard LeRoy Rymel of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Teresa Diane Mathis of Hugo, Oklahoma; and Tracie Lee Davis of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She also leaves to cherish her memory 2 sisters: Dorothy Phillips of Maryland and Josephine Shultz of Missouri along with 19 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents: Charles Edward and Mammie Via; 4 brothers: Sammy, Charles, Ralph and Ray Via and 1 sister: Lucille Smith. Funeral services were held Monday, April 15, 2002at 11:00 a.m. at the Rattan Baptist Church with Reverend Sam Pound officiating. Serving as pallbearers: Charles Rymel, Brian Spencer, Kevin Billy, Chris Davis, Chad Mathis and Brett Anderson. Honorary pallbearers: Christopher Sjurset, Lance Rymel, Matthew Rymel and Steve Sjurset. She was laid to rest at the Corrine Cemetery under the direction of Mills-Coffey Funeral Home in Antlers, Oklahoma.
