All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Turlock Memorial Park--Turlock CA Runyan, Estelle ESTELLE RUNYAN JULY 20, 1920 - MAY 13, 2007 Estelle Runyan, 86, passed away on Mother's Day at 12:32 AM at Elness Convalescent Hospital in Turlock where she had lived for the past three years. She was born in Albion, Oklahoma and moved to California in 1941. She was preceeded in death by her son and daughter, Larry Dean Runyan and Linda June Runyan who died in an automobile accident after Larry's high school graduation in 1959; and her grandson, SFC Chad Gonsalves who was killed in Afghanistan on Feb. 13, 2006. She is survived by her daughter, Marsha Gonsalves of Turlock; grandson, Joshua Gonsalves, also of Turlock; and 3 great grandsons, Cody, Blake, and Dylan Gonsalves of Athens, Alabama. Estelle had a passion for reading and could always be found outside reading a favorite book or magazine and smoking a cigarette: an addiction she loved and would never give up. She loved hot sunny days and cherished every day that God gave her and always looked forward to the next. Before retirement, she worked for Banquet Foods in Turlock. As a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she will be deeply missed. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 17th from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist in Turlock A funeral will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 18th also at Turlock Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
