SPARKS SERVICES HELD Fred F. Sparks was born on August 18, 1920 in Mill Creek, Oklahoma and passed away on January 26, 2002 in Paris, Texas. Mr. Sparks attended Antlers Kingdom Hall Church and was a member of the Electrical Union. He enjoyed traveling, shopping, and storytellers. He was a very loving husband, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his wife: Twila of the home in Antlers, Oklahoma; 1 son: Fred Sparks of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; 1 daughter: Barbara Hillyer of Plainfield, Indiana; 2 step-daughters: Kathy Beasley and Cindy Krou both of Antlers; 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents: Paul and Juanita (Youngblood) Sparks and 1st wife Dollie Dee (Hayes) Sparks. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 29, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at the Mills-Coffey Chapel with Mike Smith officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Fred Sparks, Brandon Beasley, Brad Wheeler, Don Hedgecock, Lloyd Owens and Gary Benson. Honorary pallbearers included: Lucas Hedgecock, Randy Buckner and Jesse Buckner. He was laid to rest at Iron Bridge Cemetery in Stigler, Oklahoma under the direction of Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Antlers, Oklahoma. _____________________________________
