She was born January 20, 1904 at McAlester and grew up and spent most of her life in Pushmataha County. She moved to Oktaha, Oklahoma in 1962. She was a housewife and member of the Trinity Baptist Church at Oktaha. Survivors include 3 sons: Roy Ward of Muskogee; Harold Ward of Pampa, Texas; and Gerald Sanders of West Plains, Missouri; 1 daughter: Marie Reich of West Plains; 2 sisters: Gertrude Wyrick of Modesto, California; and Ara Jackson of Granite Pass, Oregon; and 2 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Lescher Funeral Chapel Friday morning with a 2:00 p.m. committal service at the Finley Cemetery with Rev. Phillip Savage officiating. Services will be directed by the Lescher Funeral Home in Muskogee.
