"Jerry" Tisdale FRITCH - Geraldine S. "Jerry" Tisdale, 78, died Thursday, April 11, 2002, in Amarillo. Graveside services for close friends and family will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Memory Lane Garden at Highland Park Cemetery. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Fritch Church of Christ with Richard Kasko, minister, officiating. Arrangements are by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch. Mrs. Tisdale was born May 25, 1923, in Tuscahoma, Okla., and had been a Fritch resident since 1981. She was a bank teller for eight years each at Panhandle Bank and Trust and First National Bank. She married Aubrey Tisdale on Oct. 31, 1978, in Aztec, N.M. She was one of 13 children. She was a loving and sacrificing mother and was close to all. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Mike Whitaker of Colleyville and Steve Spangler and Tom Spangler, both of Borger; two stepdaughters, Nikki Acker of Borger and Karen Newcomb of Greenville; a brother, Jack Bookout of Electra; a sister, Mildred Maggart of Fritch; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials be to Fritch Church of Christ building fund, P.O. Box 298, Fritch, TX 79036; or American Macular Degeneration Foundation, P.O. Box 515, North Hampton, MA 01061-0515. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home in Fritch. Amarillo Globe-News, April 12, 2002
