This cemetery is located in section 24-15-26, 6 miles South, East 1/4 mile on the Thoral Shaw place and for years M. Shaw did keep the fence in good repair. The cemetery is now in a deplorable condition with sage-brush and weeds covering the plot. There is one granite marker: James Madison Millard, Born 04-10-1849 Died 05-31-1903 There are several cement stones but most are red rocks and there are signs that teel, at one time, this was a large cemetery. On one red rock you can make out the initials L.R.W. but the wind, water, heat and time have obliterated the rest of the names that were tenderly etched and carved on a hundred or more red shale rocks. The names that are recorded there are: Alsup, James 1903 Died 1906 Hamon, Oscar, Born 1901 Died 1906 Laney, Della, Born 04-24-1893 Died 08 no other dates Long, Belle, Born 09-1878 Died 07-1902 Long, Velma, Born 1902 Died 1903 Millard, James Madison, Born 04-1849 Died 05-31-1903
