Joseph Plunket found him lying in the yard on the Otsmen place where he and his son were making their home. Mr. Ash was till concious but died in the afternoon. He had had a stroke of paralisys about three months before this one. He was buried on Wednesday in the Rankin (White Rose) cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma the funeral services being conducted by Elder Martin. (Cheyenne Star Feburary 27, 1913)
