Services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church of Leedey. Burial followed in the New Hermon Cemetery of Leedey under the direction of Shaw Funeral Home of Leedey. She was born September 18, 1937 in Thomas, gre up around Leedey and lived most of her life in Oklahoma City and Edmond. She was employed by Safeway for the past 12 years. She was a member of the Baptist Henderson Hills Church of Edmond. She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford E. Melton. She is survived by: her mother and step father, Emil and Jewel Kauk of Leedey; her husband, Larry of Edmond; one son, Bob Jones of Calumet; three daughters, Pam Holt, Oklahoma City; Jancy Regier, Yukon and Cherita Adams of Edmond; and one grandchild.
