She passed away December 8, 1981 in the Roger Mills Memorial Hospital at the age of 81 years. Willie May came to Oklahoma with her parents in 1906. On May 31, 1919 she was united in marriage to Lecil M. Ator at Herring, Oklahoma. In 1926 Mrs. Ator and her husband moved to the Roll community where they were residing at the time of her death. Willie May was united with the Herring Baptist Church in 1922, she was also a charter member of the Roll Home Demostration Club. Survivors include her husband Lecil; one son, Leamon Ator, Denver, Colo.; 2 grandchildren Linda Schubert and Ronald Ator; 3 great grandchildren all of Denver, Colo.; 3 brothers, Jack Lackey and Haskell Lackey both of Brawley, Calif.; Paul Lackey, Hammon, Okla., 4 sisters, Annie Allen, Hammon, Okla.; Dorothy Griffin, Oklahoma City, OK; Essie and Lessie Lackey, Cheyenne, Okla.; along with a host of friends and relatives. Services were held Friday, December 11, 1981 at 2:00 p.m. in the Magnolia Baptist Church with A.L. Martin officiating. Pallbearers were Rex Dickason, Gene Ford, Leroy Bowers, Fred Cobb, Carl Kendall and Donald Reynolds. Interment was in the Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, OK under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
