The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ==================================================================== Surnames: Ator, Ford Leamon Bona Ator was born December 16, 1923 at Herring, OK, to Lecil and Willie Ator and departed this life April 19, 1986 at Loveland, Colorado at the age of 62 years and 4 months. Leamon moved with his parents to the Roll Community at a very early age and lived there until 1957. At the time of his death he was residing in Denver, Colorado. He graduated from Crawford High School and on March 16, 1943 he entered the United States Navy and served on the U.S.S. Eichenberger D.E. 202 in the South Pacific. On december 5, 1942 he was married to Dorothy Ford at Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Together they farmed in the Crawford community and operated a store at Roll. Leamon was a member of the Magnolia Baptist Church, Crawford, OK. Mr. Ator's parents precded him in death in December 1981. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of the home in Denver; one son, Ronald Ator of Arvada, Colorado; one daughter, Linda Schubert of Denver, Color.; one daughter-in-law, Joann Ator of Arvado, Colo.; three grandchildren, Melissa and Melinda Schubert and Daniel Ator. Also other friends and relatvies. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, April 23, 1986 at 2:00 p.m. in the Christ's Highland Memorial Chapel of Denver, Colo. with Jay Hafner officiating. Grave side services were conducted Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, OK with A.L. Martin officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Services of Cheyenne. Local Pallbearers were: Rex Dickason, Calvin Hillman, Scott Ford, Richard Freeman, Leroy Bowers, and Gene Ford.
