She passed from this life on Friday evening, November 22, 1996 at the Great Palins Regional Medical Center in Elk City, Oklahoma. Mrs. Albright had reached the age of 83 years at the time of her death. Emma spent her early years in the Sentine-lThomas areas until the family moved to a farm west of Leedey where she attended the Diamond Fron and Liberfty Center rural schools. She later transferred to Leedey High School. In 1932 Emma was united in marriage to Luther James Albrith at Thomas, Oklahoa. One son, John D. was born to this union. After their marriage Luther and Emma established their hoem in the Leedey area and this has remained their home throughtout their life. Besides the duties of a homemaker Emma worked as a grocery clerk in the Logue and Cates Groceries. For her speical interests Emma enjoyed quilting, doing volunteer work at the Leedey Nursin Center, various church activities, and loving everyones' children. At an early age Emma was baptized and became a member of the Leedey First Baptist Church. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School and helping where she was needed. In 1969 Emma and Ezra Britton were united in marriage. They were able to spend several happy years together before Ezra;'s death. Mrs. Albright was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Luther James Albright and Ezra L. Britton. Those left to mourn her passing are her son, John D. Albright, his wife, Klara of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; and one granddaughter, Tracey A. Albright of Portland, Oregon. One brother, Bill South of Leedey; sisters: Allene Foster of Norman, Ok, Ina Wherritt of Thomas, OK, and Johnie Mae Hall of Leedey, several nices, nephews and many friends. Services were at First Baptist Church, Leedey, OK on Tuesday, November 26, 1996 at 2:30 p.m. with Don Ross officiating. Interment was in the Red Star Cemetery, Roger Mills County, Ok
