The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ==================================================================== Surnames: Albright Funeral services for Mr. Alva Hughie Albright, 82 year old Weatherford, Okla. resident, were held in the Red Star Church, Roger Mills County, near Leedey, Okla. on Sat. afternoon, Oct 22, 1988 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Clyde Deeny, former Pastor of the church and Rev. Stan Norman, Pastor of the church officiating. Burial was in the Red Star Cemetery southwest of Leedey, Okla. under the direction of the Lockstone Funeral Home Inc. of Weatherford, Okla. Mr Albright was born at Leedey, Okla. on May 19, 1906 and died at his home in Weatherford, Oklla, Wed. morning, Oct 19, 1988 after an extended illness. He was raised in the Red Star Community near Leedey, Okla., attended the Leedey Public Schools and grew to manhood in that area. Hughie was married to Pauline Hammontree on Feb. 3, 1927 at Leedey, Okla.. They farmed in the Leedey area and also near Thomas, Okla. until 1937 when they moved to Fresno, Calif. where he was a caarpenter until 1940 and then became a self employed Trucking Contractor until his retirement in Mt. Viedw, Calif. in 1959. They moved to Weatherford in 1977. He was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church of Weatherford, Okla. and memorials may be made to the Hear Assoc. He is survived by his wife, Pauline Albright, Weatherford, Okla., one daughgter, helen Graybill, Weatherford, Okla.; three grandsons; two great grandchildren; one brother, Floyd Albright, Thomas, Okla.; three sisters, Florence Phillips, Minco, Okla., Wilma Eyster, Guthrie, Okla. and Dorothy Ortiz, Merced, Calif. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Benice Albright in 1945, his parents, Jack and Chessie Albright; two brothers, Glenn Albright and Melvin Albright; three sissters, Alice Albright, Nellie Switzer and Eunice Albright.
