Allen was born April 30, 1912 in Sewwtwater, OK to Mr. and Mrs. William H. Allen and passed away Jan. 27, 1996 in the Golden Age Nursing Home of Clovis, NM at the age of 83. Daniel was born and reared in Sweetwater. He married Madge Helen Jones and they farmed and raised cattle in the Sweetwater area his entire life until 1970, when he moved to Belen, NM. In 1995, he and his son, Ken, moved to the Arch community where he enjoyred the countryside, watching the crops and livestock for as long as his health permitted. For the past several weeks, he had been in the nursing home in Clovis. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and 3 brothers. He is survived by 2 sons, Ken Allen and wife Betty of Portales, NM and Bobby Allen of Arlington, TX; 1 daughter, Eva Jo Condo, Olney, IL; 6 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters and a host of other relatives and friends. Serices were at 2:00 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2, 1996 at the Fatheree- Albert Chapel. Interment was in the Mulberry Cemetery, Sweetwater, Roger Mills County, OK under the direction of Fathereee-Albert Funeral Home.
