Hamm and departed this life on October 21, 1973, at Cheyenne, Oklahoma, at the age of 92 years, 6 months, and 19 days. She was married to Leon Allen on October 1, 1899 at Oglesby, Texas. To this union was born four sons and three daughters. They moved from Texas to Oklahoma in 1900 and filed on a farm near Rome in Roger Mills County. They resided in the Three Corner, Strong City and Cheyenne communities most of the remainder of their lives. Mrs. Allen was a long time member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Preceding her in death were her husband, parents, one sister and one son. J.D. She leaves to mourn her passing, Roger Allen, Payette, Idaho; Edna Conner of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Hazel Kimzey of Elk Grove, California; Bernice Phillips of Elk Grive, California; Paul Allen of Strong City, Oklahoma; Reuben Allen of Mantica, California; 26 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
