Interment will be under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home of Elk City. Wilma Jean Allen was born January 11, 1933 at Strong City to Jouie Overton and Hazel Hapgood Young and passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at the age of 72. She graduated from High School and was married to Elvin Allen on February 15, 1952 at Portales, New Mexico and have lived in the Hammon area all of their married life. Besides being a wife, a mother, aa grandmother, and homemaker Wilma also managed the Antique Mall in Elk City for some ten years. She was a member of the Hammon Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers. Survivors include her husband, Elvin Allen of the Hammon home, 5 children, Regina Landes and her husband Larry of Hammon, Robin Cates and her husband Dennis of Leeedey, Rex Allen and his wife Terri, Rita Allen of Moore and Russell Allen and his wife Susan of Edmond, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 2 sisters, June Widener of Cheyenne and Luzaelle Harless of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
