Ida, Arkansas and departed this life October 16, 1954 at the Cheyenne hospital, at the age of 85 years. Mr. Anderson and his family moved to Roger Mills County in 1925 residing in the Needmore communith where he was employed by the State Highway Department and later retired. He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, Mable and Elizabeth, one son, Dee, three sisters, Doshia, Odie and Nancy; four brothers Mat, Tom, John and A.G. and one granddaughter, Minnie Carol. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Minnie of cheyenne, four daughters, Bessie of Gage, Cleo, Billie and Marie of Cheyenne; two sons, Freemon of Houston, Texas and Jess of Beaver, one sister, Josie Bowers of Cheyenne and one brother Allen of Hot Springs, Arkansas; 26 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. He had been a member of the Methodist Church since the age of 17. Funeral services were held in the Methodist church in Cheyenne Sunday afternoon October 18, 1964 with Rev. Donald Grove, pastor officiating. Committal was in the Cheyenne cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under direction of Scroggins and Son. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
