Anderson was conducted from Buffalo Baptist Church September 3, 1974 at 2 p.m. with Rev. C.R. Tucker officiating. Born June 24, 1886, in Tennessee. Mr. Anderson came to Sweetwater in 1915. He married Vertie Heard in Valley View, Texas, March 14, 1905, who preceded him in death. They moved to Sayre August, 1967. He married Linnie Guy at Sweetwater March 1, 1967. He was a member of the Buffalo Baptist Church. Survivors are wife of the home; 1 daughter, Mrs. Stella Jenkins, of Sweetwater, Oklahoma; 1 son Garnett of Sweetwater, Oklahoma; 3 stepsons, Leroy Guy, Abilene, Texas, Bert Guy, Berlin Oklahoma, Charles Guy, Sayre, 2 grandsons; 6 great grandchildren, 4 sisters Mrs. Lula Phibps, of Fox, Mrs. Roxie Jarman, Mrs. Mary Abernathy, both of Corona, California, Mrs. Katherine Crouch of Oklahoma City; and a host of other relatives and friends.
