Ruby was born May 8, 1926 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Avery Word and Jo Lena Lee Word. She grew up in southwestern Oklahoma where she had many friends and enjoyed riding horses. Ruby met Jess Anderson, a veteran returning from duty in the Pacific, whie she was working in her father's grocery store. They were married March 9, 1946. Ruby devoted her life to the care and comfort of her family and friends. She woul touch your life and stay in your heart forever. Ruby is survived by her daughter Judy Anderson of Houston, Texas, her son and daughter-in-law Jess and Jonette Anderson of Goodard, Kansas, her grandchildren Julie and Mike Moynihan and children Palmer and Jessica of Ft. Worth, Texas, Jay and Jacki Anderson and children Jackson, Jett and Jayci of Optima, Oklahoma, Jenniefer Anderson and Kevin Carber of Wicha, kansas, her brother-in-law Floyd Harmon of Cheyenne, oklahoma, her many nieces and nephews and a host of family and other friends.
