Memorial services were held Monday, July 28, 1980 at 10:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church in Cheyenne with Rev. Carl Free and Rev. Roger Klopfenstein officiating. Interment wsas in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, OK under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Cheyenne. Born June 13, 1906, at Strong City, Mary Edith Archer attended school at Three Corners and Strong City. She married M.F. Andrews at Hammon on April 12, 1925. She lived in Roger Mills County all her life and was a member of the Pentacostal Holiness Church at Cheyenne. She moved last month to the nursing home in Weatherford. Survivors are her husband of the home; 5 daughters, Mrs. Flora Mae Parks and Mrs. Dammie Morris, both of Cheyenne, Mrs. Jo Betty of Hydro, Mrs. Faye Jantzen of Lawton and Mrs. Kizzie Marlin of Arlington, Texas; 3 sons, Fred of Lawton, Henry and E.L., both of Cheyenne; 3 brothers, Jake Archer of Cheyenne, Earl Archer of Strong City and Willie Archer of Sayre; 29 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren.
