She was united in marriage to Alexander T. Ayers on December 18, 1896 and to this union four children were born: two sons and two daughters; namely Mrs. Marie Black of Inglewood, Calif., Guy C. Ayers and Clark Ayers both of Rendondo Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Alma Ator of Durham, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.T. Ayers December 23, 1946. 12 days elapsed between their departure. Also three brothers. Sister Ayers was converted and joined the fellowship of the Missionary Baptist Church in 1905. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hammon, Oklahoma at the time of her passing. She lived faithful to her Christian experience, devoted to her church and her family, and was lovd by all who knew her. It is said that a most noblew and brave soul has won the victory. Mrs. Ayers had been in failing health for over three years. She leaves to mourn her passing the four children: Mrs. Marie Black, Guy C. Ayers, Clark Ayers and Alma Ator; two sisters: Mrs. J.D. Cates, Mrs. Frank Dick. Four brothers, Cleve, Emit, Noah and Lath Carder, seven grandchildren, besides a host of other relatives and friends.
