She departed this life December 6, 1962 at Cheyenne, Oklahoma, at the age of 71 years, 10 months. She came to Oklahoma in 1903. On October 3, 1911 she married Luther C. Kirksey. He preceded her in death December 1, 1918. July 20, 1918 she married W.W. Archer, at Strong City. She is survived by her husband, W.W. Archer, six daughters, Veryl Culver, Hewlen Ellingwood, of Eureka, California, Mary Patton of Ulysses, Kansas, Ola Williams, Roseville, California, Ruby McFarland of McAlester, Oklahoma, Nellie McClellan of Strong City, Oklahoma. Five sons, Orval Kirskey, Willits, California, Keene Kirksey, Portervalley, California, Berwin Archer, Leedey, Oklahoma, Charlie Archer, Fresino, California, Lonnie Archer of Artesia, New Mexico. 29 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, two sisters, Thelma Heggie of Vernon, British Columbia, Canada, Hazel Young of Cheyenne, and a host of other relatives and friends. Her parents, a daughter, two brothers and a grandson killed while serving with the United States Marine Corp preceeded her in death.
