She married Lee V. Airington on November 8, 1933. He preceded her in death in 1964. She had been a resident of Lefors and Pampa area since 1958, moving to Lufkin recently to be closer to her family. She was a loving wife and mother. She was a homemaker and worked in the clothing retail business for many years. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by 4 sisters, Pearl Bessire, Elsie Boone, Flora King and Ruby Snyder, 1 brother, Henry J. Wright and 1 daughter-in-law, Linda Carol Airington. Survivors include 2 sonss, Jerry L. Airington and wife Carol of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, and Rodney Airington and wife Charlsy of Etoile; grandchildren, Allen and Melissa Patterson, Pam and Billy Fatheree, and Rodney and Sara Airington, all of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Gary and Kimbra Trujillo, Michael and Ashley Airington; step grandchildren Reyhan Ates of Tas Ates, all of the Houston area, and Peri Ates of San Diego, California; 7 Great Grandchildfren; 2 Sisters-in-law Sara Airington of Amarillo and Maxine Wright of Reydon, Oklahoma. Services were held Friday April 22, 2005 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Rick Parnell, associate pastor of the Central Baptist Church, officiating. Burial followed in Fairview cemetery, Pampa, Texas under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
