Murl was born August 16, 1911 at Marysville, Oklahoma and died October 28, 1992 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was a retired tuck driver and was an active worker with the meals for shutins program with his church. He was the son of Walter and Lillie Buffalo and lived in the Leedey area with his family. He attended Leedey school.\ He married Lela Emmonsa and they started thier life together in Leedey. After living in other towns in Oklahoma, they lived for over forty years in their home in Oklahoma City. Lela precede him in death in 1985. He was the last survivor of his family. He left several nieces and nephews and a host of friends to mourn his passing. Entombment was at Rose Hill Patio Mausoleum, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
