The Rev. David Wilkins officiated. Burial was at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Steed-Todd Funeral Home handled arrangements. Boxoc was born October 12, 1905 in Oklahoma to Thomas H. and Mattie Garver. She died Monday, February 17, 1992 in Dallas, Texas. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Pleasant Hill Auxiliary and Ladies Church Group. She is survived by one son, Glenn Bocox of Clofis; one daughter, Norma McAlavy of Lake Dallas, Texas; six grandhcildren, Kaye Shoemaker and Ken Bocox of Clovis, Karen Patterson of Houston, Texas, Debbie Smith of Amarillo, Texas, Jan McAlavy of California and Tim McAlavy of Kansas; sisters-in-law, Minnie Franks and lucy Sanders of Clovis, Grace Lee of Tucumcari and Margie Tucker of California and Lelia Garver of Reydon, Oklahoma; and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Bocox, in 1979 and one son, Floyd Bocox, Jr., in 1966; two sisters Lora Parks and Elma Spencer and one brother Andrew Garver.
