She united with the Blair Baptist Church at the age of 15 years. She was married to Tom Bast in 1902. To this union was born 10 children of whom 4 preceded her in death which was January 17, 1938. She is survived by her husband and 6 children Mrs. Earl Reed, Stratford, Oklahoma, Lonnie, Clyde and Chester of Herring, Mrs. Frances Samples and Sadie Lou Bast of Herring and five grandchildren, her mother Mrs. M.C. Lowry of Wellington, Howard of Amarillo, Texas and Earnest of Hamm,on, and five sisters, Mrs. Sadie Franks, and Mrs. Clellia Jones of Amarillo, Mrs. Annie White and Mrs. Lucille Berryman of Wellington and Mrs. Lettie Stewart of Hammon laid to rest in the Hammon cemetery (Red Hill Cemetery), W.R.
