She passed away February 18, 2000 at her home in the Grimes community at the age of 39 years, 4 months and 5 days. Kim grew up at Sweetwater and attended school there graduating from Sweetwater High School in 1978. She contiuned her education at Sayre Junior College and Southwestn Oklahoma State University and received her B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Socail Work in 1990. She was married to Mark Boswell at Sweetwater, OK on March 7, 1981 and they lived in the Grimes community. She worked at Grand Place Nursing Center in Sayre as the Activities Director. In 1991, she began working for the Department of Humand Services as a Social Worker at the Sayre office before transferring to the Cheyenne office in November of 1993. Kim enjoyed athlectics and was an avid volleyball player and excelled at basketball while she was in high school. She was a board member of the Cheyenne All Sports Associaiation. She was also an active supporter of her children;s FFA, 4H, and school athletics and activities. She was seen many times as a "taxi driver' in the Cheyenne and Sweetwater communitites, transporting kids to and from their activites. Her hobbies included reading and helping her brothers at their dairy farms on the weekends. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and aunt who will be missed by all of her family, especially by her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, who she set an example for through her leadership abilities. She was a member of the Sweetwater First Baptist Church. She was involved in many church activites and served as the Yourth Leader, where she enjoyed working with all ages of children and accompanying them to Falls Creek. She is survived by her husband, Mark, of the home; 3 children, Tara Dawn Boswell, Trevor Mark Boswell, both of the home, Donald Leach and wife, Brandi, of Hammon, OK; 1 grandson, Tanner Mark Leach of Hammon, OK; her parents, Walter and Louise Perry of Sweetwater, OK; 1 sisters, Barbara Kay Estes of Amarillo, TX, Debara Beth Wallace of Yarbrough, OK; 3 btoehrs, Steven Walter Perry, Stanley Kent Perry and Gene Marshall Perry, all of Sweetwater, OK; her mother and father-in-law, Melba Ruth and Eldon Boswell, of Cheyenne, OK; many nieces, nephews; special friends, Wenona Scrivner and Radonna Smith; and a host of other relatives and friend.
