The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ====================================================================== Funeral services for Ines Basler will be conducted Monday, September 23, 1991 in the First Assembly of God Church with burial to follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Elk Ctiy, Beckham County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home. Ines Lahoma Basler was born May 17, 1910 in Port, Oklahoma and passed away Thursday September 1`9, 1991 at the age of 81. As a girl, she moved with her family to Roll, Oklahoma for a few years and then to Hammon where she attended school. She was married to George Grant Jones on August 6, 1927 in Elk City. They moved to Elk City in the mid 1940's. Mr. Jones preceded her in death on September 4, 1964. She was married to Willie Basler on August 28, 1979. Ines was a longtime member of the First Assembly of God Church. Survivors include her husband Willie Basler of the Elk City home. Three children: Bill JOnes of Oklahoma City, Neal Jones of Concord, California and Gayle Shorter of Bethany, Oklahoma. Also 4 step-children: Bill Basler of Oklahoma City, Fred Basler of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Dale Basler of Silver City, New Mexico and Stella Kiser of Elgin, Oklahoma. Other survivors include: One sister, Mrs. Berlie Holder of Elk City, 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, three brothers, 4 sisters and one step-daughter. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
