She departed this life Feb. 27, 1947 at the age of 72 years, and 19 days. She was united in marriage to Jacob Bachmann in 1895 in Wakefield, Kansas. Mr. Backhmann preceded her in death September 27, 1944. To this union was born 12 children, 5 preceding her in death. Those left to mourn her passing are Mrs. W.J. Estes, Mrs. Frank Hawkins, of Durham, Okla.; Dan Bachmann of Spearman, Texas; Mrs. Paul Ramsey, Canadian, Texas; Mrs. Alston Riley, Robert Bachmann of Durham, Okla., and Mrs. Jack Bingham of Cloverdale, Calif.; 19 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 brother, Albert Branscom of Garvey, Calif, a large number of nieces, nephews and cousins and a host of friends. Mrs. Bachmann, with husband and two children, landed near Elk City, on Nov. 25, 1898, on their homestead and later moved to Durham, Oklahoma, in the spring of 1920 and resided there until their death. She was a member of the Church of Christ, was kind and thoughtful to all who knew her. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Durham, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. --------------------------------------------------------------------
