All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Leona Buschman CANADIAN - Leona Buschman, 69, died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 1999. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Central Baptist Church with the Rev. Rick Timmons, pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Friday in Ochiltree Cemetery near Perryton by StickleyHill Funeral Directors of Canadian. Mrs. Buschman was born in Durham, Okla. In 1961, she moved to Perryton and lived in Perryton and Spearman until moving to Canadian in 1991. For 20 years, Mrs. Buschman was employed by the Coca-Cola Bottling Co. She also worked in the food service department of the Perryton Independent School District. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Perryton and the Central Baptist Church in Canadian. In 1994, she married George F. Buschman at Perryton. Her first marriage was to Lloyd Sword in 1954 at Perryton. He died in 1989. Survivors include her husband; a son, Charles Amrine of Layton, Utah; a stepson, John Buschman of Canadian; a stepdaughter, Ruth Ward of Canadian; two brothers, Eugene Thompson of Carlsbad, N.M., and Leo Thompson of Canadian; a sister, Allene Sword of Beggs, Okla.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Hemphill County Hospice.
