Baker, 70, of Crawford was born November 8, 1916 in Durham, Oklahoma to Donal P. and Fannie Mae Baker. He passed away Saturday, Feburary 28, 1987 in the Roger Mills Memorial Hospital of Cheyenne following an extended illness. Henry's early years were spent in the Durham community. He lived for a while in Modesto, Calif. On August 20, 1938 he and Marguerite Beavin were married in Sayre. The lived in Durham until 1948 when they moved to Beaver, Okla. In Beaver he operated a trucking business until 1964 when they moved to the Beavin Ranch in Crawford, Okla. He was a farmer and rancher. Mr. Baker became a member of the Reydon Methodist Church in 1986. Those who preceded him in death were his mother, 1 son, James and 1 brother, Guy. Survivors include his wife, Marguerite of the home, 1 daughter, Janice Vincent of Elk City, 1 son, Ronnie Baker of Durham, 8 grandchildren, his father Donal P. Baker of Durham, OK, 2 brothers, Dale Baker of Durham and Edward Baker of Beaver, Okla., also other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted Monday, March 2, 1987 at 10:00 a.m. in the Crawford Magnolia Baptist Church with Chalres Horton and Galen Isaac officiating. Interment followed in the Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Cheyenne. Active Pallbearers were: Eugene Calvert, J.E. Merritt, James Sides, Max Montgomery, Larry McGlothlin, and Billy McGlothlin. Honorary Pallbearers: C.L. Hickey, J.W. Chalfant, Dwaynbe Hennigh, Johnny Armstrong, Jr., M.J.
