Doyle Patterson and Paul Jantzen, both associate pastors, officiated. Entombment was in the Resthaven Mausoleum under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home. Mrs. Bogart died Wednesday evening at Methodist Hospital following a lenghtly illness. Born on June 26, 1916 in Gotebo, Oklahoma, she had lived in Lubbock since 1950. She was married to Waallace Bogart in Leedey, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in September of 1961. She was a member of the Trinity Church. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Evelyn Wallace in 1976. Mrs. Boart was also a member of Trinity Primetime, Phi Sigma Alpha, the Golden Spread Chapter of the A.B.W.A., Lubbock Women's Club, Caaprock China, and the Lubbock Garden Club. She was also a volunteer for the China Painting Division of the South Plains Fair for 25 years. She then served as co-superintendent during 1991 and 1992. She became superintdent in 1933. She was a Sgt in the Womens Army Corps during World War II. Mrs. Bogart is survived by 3 step daughters Dorothy Hudson of Cotton Center, Sylvia Price and Patsy Livingston, both of Roswell, New Mexico. Foster daughter, Jean Ann Nalley of Cheyenne, Oklahoma, brother, Celo Pierce of Cheyenne, OK, sister, Imogene power of Wichita, Kansas, 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
