In the Sayre Memorial Hospital at the age of 83. She was the daughter of William Boone and Anna Mae Powel. She graduated from Durham High School and attended two years of college at Goodwill, Oklahoma, She married Frank Emerson Beaty October 18, 1927 in Canadian, Texas. After their marriage they lived on a farm in the Durham and Crawford community. In 1947 they moved to Cheyenne to make their home. She became County Assessor in March, 1953 and after 22 years she retired in 1975. She became a member of the Cheyenne Methodist Church in 1959. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, one son, Billy, one step-daughter Charlene, one step-son Hayworth and three brothers. Survivors are: one son, James Beaty, Sayre; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two brothers, J.R. Powel of Clinton and Clell Powel, Canoga Park, Calif.; one sister Laura Park, Durham. Funeral services were held this morning in the United Methodist Church of Cheyenne with Charles Horton officiating. Interment followed in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. --------------------------------------------------------------------
