Aubrey Cowan officiating. Carey Mildred Fields was born in Decatur, Texas, Dec. 29, 1891 to Isabelle and Flethcer Fields. She came to Roger Mills County in 1899 with her parents, three brothers and three sisters. She attended Cheyenne Schools and Weatherford College. She taught school in Roger Mills County. She was married to Leo David Beaty in 1916 and had two sons, L.D. Jr., and Albert Fields. She was a fine christian mother and was active in the local Methodist Church. Mrs. Beaty was interested in community affairs, was a charter member of the Platonia Club of Cheyenne,and a lifetime member of Order of The Eastern Star here and also interest in music and riding horses. Carey Mildred had been ill for many years and passed away at the Good Samaritan Center in Hobart, Oklahoma at the age of 91 1/2 years. Her husband and one son preceded her in death. Those surviving are one son, Albert Fields (Chink) Beaty of Cheyenne; one sister Isabelle Quinn of Topeks, Kansas; one nephew, Bill Bouner of Farmington, New Mexico; and two nieces, Donnalita Cooksey of Seagraves, Texas; Donnalita Sue Hall of Topeka, Kansas; four grandchildren, Chiquita Spillers and Darlene James of Elk City; Tom Bety and Bill Beaty of Cheyenne. Ten great grandchildren. Mrs. Beaty was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Interment was in Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills Countty, Oklahoma --------------------------------------------------------------------
