He was raised in Cheyenne and attended school there. Donnie will long be remembered as a member of "The Five Keys" during his High School years. Preceding him in death were his father, Frank, in 1971 and his brother, Buddy in 1973. Erma C. Batchelor of Elk City survives her son as well as 2 nieces and 2 nephews. Doyle Harris of Elk City and Willard Cox, Cheyenne conducted the services with interment in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service. Pallbearers were Marvin Pruitt, Morris Cantrell, Tom Cooper, John McDaniel, Rollin Reimer, and Brian Wesner.
