Bottom was born January 1, 1930 in Lubbock, TX and passed away April 28, 2000 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma at the age of 70 years, 3 months and 27 days. Evas grew up in Tatum, New Mexico where she graduated from High School. She married Elmer Paul Dye on March 24, 1951 in Clovis, NM. They moved to Cheyenne, OK in 1958 where Evas and Paul worked as bootmakers. Paul passed away in 1984. She married Ben Bottom at Hollis, OK on March 10, 1988 and they made Cheyenne their home. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 infant brother (Calvin). Evas is survived by her husband, Ben Bottom, of the home, 1 son, Steve Dye, Mobile, AL, 2 step daughters, Pat Dickason, Cheyenne, OK, Pauline Wimberly, Sacramento, CA, 1 step Son, Don Dye, Cheyenne, OK, 4 brothers, Leroy Townsend, Ann Arbor MI, Melvin Townsend, Moriarty, NM, Johnny Townsend, Lubbock, TX, Robert Townsend, Odessa, TX, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
