Boatwright was born Sept. 27, 1909 in Roger Mills County, Okla., and passed away June 12, 1991 in the Elk City Community Hospital at the age of 81 years, 8 monts, 22 days. Otto, the son of James Paul and Lizzie Boatwright, moved to West Texas in 1947 where he farmed and ranched. On Sept. 20, 1986 he married Esther Simpson Davis in Cheyenne, Okla. Otto was a member of the Pentecostal Church in Plainview, Tx. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, 3 brothers and an infant daughter. He is survived by his wife; Esther of Cordell, Okla.; 1 daughter, Darlene Wellman of Corsicana, TX; 2 sons, Gene Boatwright and his wife, Elaine, of Clovis N.M., Ckla, Clarence Boatwright of Longview, TX.; 1 sister, Rosie McIntyre of Cottonwood, Calif,; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services were held Thurs., June 13, 1991 at 4 p.m. in the White Rose Cemetery with Juanice Parkhurst officiating. Burial followed under the direction ofc Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Cheyenne. --------------------------------------------------------------------
