The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ====================================================================== Funeral services for Mr. Olive James Bailey, 36, Clinton resident were held 10 a.m., Saturday in the Arapaho Church of Christ officiated by Doyle Kinney and Doyle Harris. Burial will follow in the Rhea Cemetery, Rhea, Oklahoma under the direction of Stanley-Lee Funeral Home. Olive James Baily was born September 2, 1952 to Kenneth and Arveta Baily, in Elk City, Oklahoma, and passed away early Thursday morning, two days after being involved in an automobile accident near Elk City. Mr. Bailey's parents were career Air Force and he traveled with them as a youngster. They came to Clinton when James was a junior in high school and he graduated from Clinton High School in 1970. He later attended Southwestn State University and received a Masters Degree in Art in 1986. He married Brenda Sue Thompson November 3, 1988. He was presently employed by Potter Electric in Elk City, Oklahoma. He entered the Air Force in 1972 serving during the Viet Nam Era and spending time in Thailand and was honorably discharged in 1976. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Brenda of the Clinton Home, two daughters, Shana Bailey Propps, Lookeba, Oklahoma, Kelley Anne Bailey, Phoenix, Arizona and one step-daughter, Karetha Lynn Stewart, of the home. His parents Kenneth and Arveta Bailey, Clinton, one sister and brother-in-law Cindy and Rusty Kindrick. One brother and sister-in-law Monty and Carol Bailey of Clinton, paternal grandmother, Geneva Bailey, Gorman, Texas and maternal grandmother, Florene Owens, Leedey. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, Ok
