Milton Gage officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Mr. Bailey was born in Carthage, Texas on Feburary 27, 1902 and died late Saturday, February 21, 1987 in the Roger Mills Memorial Hospital at the age of 84. He moved with his family from Texas to Roger Mills County when he was 5 years of age. He attended the Pie Flat School and lived the rest of his life ranching and farming in Roger Mills County. For the past 43 years his home had been just west of Strong City. He continued his working life until just recently when his health failed him. He was married to Bessie Ruth Allee on October 20, 1920 in Elk City and she survives him. Two of his greatest joys was coyote hunting and sharing his garden with others. He was a member of the Hammon Church of Christ. Other than his wife he is survived by one son, Ocie Franklin Bailey of strong City, and one daughtger, Veneta Mae Orgain, also of Strong City; one sister, Neta Howard, of Ft. Worth, Texas; also by six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Casket Bearers Clyde Bottom, Kenneth Hay, Gary Scott, Wesley Harden, Jr., Bob Cannon and Jack Barton.
