"Bud" Bailey, 60, were Wednesday, November 3, 1999 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Shamrock, Texas with Rev. Jack Lee, Pastor, officiating, and at 3:00 p.m. at the First Baptist church in Cheyenne with Rev. Terrell Romberg officiating under the direction of Wright Funeral Directors of Shamrock. Interment was in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Mr. Bailey was born in Pampa, Texas on December 5, 1938. He had lived in the Wheeler, Texas area since 1981. He worked as Telegrapher Clerk agent for the Santa Fe Railroad starting in 1956. He married June Kelly on May 29, 1960 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. He was a member of Quail Unlimited, Lion's Club and also served many years as a Kid's Inc. Coach, and as UIL Basketball Referee. Survivors include his wife, June, of Wheeler, Texas; 1 son, Marty Bailey of Kaufman, Texas; 2 daughters, Kellie Greene of Amarillo, Texas and Angie Jerome of Pampa, Texas; 3 grandchildren, Daniel, Matt and Kassie; 2 sisters, Barbara Barker of Weatherford, Oklahoma and Velda Smtih of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, as well as other relatives and friends. --------------------------------------------------------------------
